Ukraine says may settle dispute on transit of goods with Russia

KIEV, Feb 14 (PRIME) -- Kiev may withdraw a lawsuit against Moscow from the World Trade Organization (WTO) if Russia abolishes its restrictions on transit of Ukrainian goods, Ukraine’s trade representative Natalya Mikolskaya told Channel 5 on Tuesday.

“If they are ready to abolish the restrictions (on transit), we will withdraw the suit, she said.

On February 9, Ukraine sent a request to the WTO demanding creation of an arbiter panel to consider Russia’s limits on transit of its goods across the country.
